26 Years of our lives are spent asleep.
Every time we sleep, we dream. From the moment we close our eyes to the moment we open them again.
The Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Jung said that it would be possible to explore the entire psychological landscape of a person by working one single dream.
So, what is the connection between dreams and waking life? How can we find out?
This workshop is an introduction to working with our dreams.
It is open to everyone, with or without previous experience of either dreamwork or psychotherapy. The only thing you need for successful participation is a dream.
The workshop leader, Anette Pollner, who trained in London and the US, has extensive training and experience in post-Jungian approaches and uses methods from Gestalt and Transpersonal psychotherapies. She also studied dreamwork at the Esalen Institute with the famous JeremyTaylor.
Everyone will have the opportunity to explore a dream in a safe and creative environment, and learn a few basic tools for understanding their dreams. There will also be a brief introduction to the major theories of psychological dreamwork, but most of the workshop is experiential. These workshops were very successful when they ran from 2009 till 2011, creating a growing community of dreamers and dream students.

Are you still operating on a life plan you made as a teenager?

Or is it time to update your life plan and write a new one?
This workshop looks at your life and your life plan in a different way.
Cognitive skills are important for your life plan and to create order out of chaos. But if lists and schedules could transform our lives, they surely would have done so by now,
In this workshop, we go on a day long journey to remember our original hopes and dreams, re-evaluate the triumphs and disappointments, the unexpected turns and the long boring stretches, and try to find what our deeper goals and dreams are, both in the past and in the present.
The workshop is structured in a series of short pair work exercises alternating with group feedback and support. Beautiful worksheets are provided to help you chart the map of your life and your life plan.
During the morning session we look at your current life plan. Where are you now in that plan? Evaluate your ‘old dreams’ and get ready to write a new plan.
In the afternoon session we go deeper and investigate the hidden motivations behind our goals, wishes and desires. Who do you REALLY want to be?
